Palasades

Rick and I took a drive over the weekend up to Palasades, which ended up being about an hour drive from my house.  I took the camera incase I saw something interesting to take photos of.  It was a lot of fun.  We ended up driving down some neat trails and roads and snapped some pretty photos.

Enjoy...

Nice photos!!! What camera are you using? I just got the new Canon 50D in December and I love it! I'm shooting some chocolate sculptures tomorrow for our resort's PR dept.

BTW - you really need to get on Facebook!!!!!!!!!!

I have the new Nikon D90 and on these photos I used the 70-300mm lense. I love this camera also. We had a hard time choosing between the Canon and the Nikon and Rick researched them both extensively before we bought it. I don't really know why he decided on the Nikon.

As far as your comment on getting on Facebook, other people have said that same thing and I don't really see the point. Why do you suggest Facebook?

Nikon is good. I just prefer Canon. That's what all of my photographers used at TransWorld Snowboarding magazine so it's all I really know. Nikon is more widely used for shooting skateboarding for some reason. I think it has to do with the way they react in cold weather.

Facebook is super fun. It's so much easier to stay in contact - you have your email, message board and list of contacts in one place. I've reconnected with tons of my friends from high school and from over the years. There are games to play (I'm addicted to Mafia Wars) and a lot of quizzes that will bring a smile to your face.

Play with it. I promise you'll be HOOKED!
