Speaking of Look-A-Likes
The other day, my friend Rachel and I went to the D.I. to get a few items she needed and while there, a guy approached me and said,"Who is your dad?" I was a little stunned by his question but realized that I recognized who he was. He was my dad's cousin, Gene. It has been so long since I last saw him (I was maybe 10 or 12 years old) and I am sure that even when I last saw him, he had no clue who I was. I told him who my dad was and he said',"I knew it, you look just like him." I thought this incident was a little weird and after thinking about it for a few days, I pulled up some pictures of my dad and decided to compare. You tell me what you think? The Picture below my dad is his mom. Do you see any resemblance?
Snow in March
This Photo was taken about a week before we went to California (3-13-08). We had a huge snowstorm that blew in approximate 6 foot snowdrifts in our backyard. Kolten and I made the most of it by creating Frosty, who was about a foot and a half taller than Kolten.

The Trip Home
The trip home was interesting. As we waited for our plane to come in at the Burbank Airport, Rick, Kolten, and I all sat patiently waiting in the uncomfortable chairs. Rick suddenly grabbed my arm and said,"Look over there. See that guy with his back turned to us. Who does he look like?" I had to wait a few minutes for him to turn around, but when he did I glanced at his face and he looked like "Hyde" off of "That 70's Show". I turned to Rick and started to say,"Wow, that looks like..." Rick turned excitedly back toward me after staring at the poor guy and said,"It is, it's him! I heard that girl walk up and say,"Hi Danny. How are you?" At that moment Rick acted as if he had just won the lottery. He began to tell me how he was going to go up and get his picture taken with him and how cool it was for him to be 10 ft away from us riding on the same plane. I had to give him the guilt trip so he would leave the guy alone but that didn't stop him from snapping some secret pictures. As we boarded the plane Rick had to hold the camera up to take a few just so he could tell everyone he rode on the same plane as Danny Masterson. So here is proof that we traveled with Danny. I feel like the Poperotzy... Enjoy!

Ruff and Gritty
Ruff and Gritty are not words to describe me and Rick. This is what Kolten felt in his pants, literally. Friday, March 28th, 2008 was the day we were scheduled to catch our plane back to Salt Lake City. We decided to hit the beach one last time before we left Cali. Kolten was having so much fun in the water. He would walk out to the wave and then try to race it back in to shore. After about 2 hours at the beach it was time to head out to get something to eat before going to the airport. We told Kolten to wash up and dry off before getting in the car. As he started to get out of the water he told us he had sand in his swim shorts. I told him to hold the top open and let the water in to wash the sand out. Needless to say, watching him attempt to wash the sand out was hilarious.

First Time at the Beach
Kolten running up and down the beach so many times was starting to make me tired. He had a blast. All he wanted to do was run and play in the sand. This was the first day in California and we were all excited to be there. We drove straight from the airport to Sunset Blvd., thru Beverly Hills and on to the beach, then back to the hotel on Santa Monica Blvd. By that time we were ready to hit the sack.
What the ?????????
Hello California
March 24th-28th, 2008
SO MUCH FUN! LOVED IT! Words that don't even begin to describe the fun we had! And yes, Rick really did have fun even though his face doesn't show it. Don't get the wrong idea, this picture was not taken after a fun night of Tequilla and Tijuana. Rick is just naturally drunk looking all the time. I told him one day his face is going to get stuck that way and now I can say, "See, I told you."
