FAT LAZY CAT

Jinxy is so fat and lazy... All she does all day long is sleep and eat.  On occasion she will wonder outside but quickly finds her way back in to lounge some more.  I love her,  she is my baby.
She recently killed off one of her five lives, I say five because of the four she has killed off in the past.  When we went to California for our spring break, she got locked in our office for five days with no food or water and, yes, that's right, no litter box.  I felt so bad when I got home.  I didn't know whether to be sad or mad when I walked in the door.   She made it though, and surprisingly didn't loose a pound.

Gloomy Days

The recent gloomy days have put some delay in the progress of our yardwork. Hopefully we will see some sun soon so that we can get our curbing in and grass. Rick did have a chance to get the sand put in around our firepit and set up the frame for our concrete pad entrance to it. I can't wait till we are done and have grass so we can sit out by the fire at night after a hot day of sun and toast our toes in the sand while cooking up some smores.

More interesting news...

I had a lady in my office ask if I knew of any horse property for sale on the west side of town and so I told her that we were thinking of selling in the fall sometime. She brought them by today and they loved our house. She said they would buy our house right now if they could. They need to sell their house first and an offer is coming our way. We are sad to leave our nearby family (for Kolten's sake but are excited to move on to a new floor plan. Jess and I were driving around the other day and found the cutest house, I brought Rick by it today and we both love it. Kolten calls it a pop tart house. He said it looks like there are a whole bunch of pop tarts stuck to it. The only way I can describe it is that it is very cottage like. Something you would see in a fairy tell story. I tried to take a photo of it with my camera on my phone but because of the rain it turned out so crappy. I will try to take another photo of it soon so you can see it.

Also some sad news... (Kids and people with soft hearts don't read!)

Kolten came in the house so excited today to tell me there was a racoon out in the ditch and that I had to come see it. I was a little busy at the moment and couldn't make it out to see it. He came back in the house shortly thereafter to say that I didn't need to worry about going out to see the racoon. I asked him why and with a very sad look he told me that it had drowned. It about broke my heart but I couldn't let him know so I said that things like that happen in nature all the time and that it was Heavenly Father's plan. The thing that was so sad was that he told me in great detail that he saw it struggling to get out and it went under water and bubbles came out of it's nose and then it went under the colvert and was dead when it came out the other end. HOW SAD IS THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I feel like balling right now just typing this.

Gotta go wipe my tears and blow my nose...talk to you soon.

5 Tag

5 yrs ago:

I was in high school...OK so I'm a little older than that, you couldn't guess that though right. No, really I was working a low life job as a secretary for Peterbuilt. Worst job I ever had - well maybe tied with Albertson's - where I worked at for literally about 2 months before I quit that hole. It didn't take me long to figure out that only mental patients work at places like those.

5 months ago:

Enjoying Christmas with the fam. We had a lot of people over for Christmas and wasn't used to that much commotion. The kids kind of drove us mad and we've been recuperating ever since. I hope we get-r-done before we have to do it all over again.

5 things on to do list:

1.Sell a house
2.finish yard
3.clean house
4.relax
5.relax

5 snack I enjoy:

Nothing now that I am on GrenX...in case you don't know what I am talking about - I think Rick called it a magic potion that I think I am drinking. No really it is a magic potion that I have been drinking that has helped me lose 17 lbs now. Email me if you want to know more. It is awesome.

5 things I would do if I were suddenly a billionaire

1. Go out and mow the dirt naked.
2. Tape dollar bills to my truck and drive through Idaho Falls just to see how people react.
3. Not share with my mom (just kidding mommy dearest).
4. Wait for you all to call wanting some.
5. Put it all away for Kolten's college...he'll be the best educated 80 year old there ever was.

5 places I have lived:

Hmmmmm...Let's see, 1. Idaho, 2. Idaho, 3. Idaho, 4. Idaho and 5. Idaho. I like Good-O-Idaho.

5 jobs I have had

Ok, so you already know the two crappy ones I've already talked about. My first job I ever had was working at a motel - Back then it was called Holiday Inn, now it is Red Lion, I think (Rick worked there too - about a year after I did and we didn't even know each other then). Then I worked at The Shoe Box - where almost every relative starts, except the smart ones (Amber). Just kidding, I loved working there...that's where I met my girl, Rach. From there I landed a career as a secretary for a tax accountant, needed insurance so I worked at Abertson's, foolish mistake, then Harley Davidson, another foolish mistake, then cleaning house and playing the mom roll for Dr. Brossard for a while, they went bankrupt and moved so I worked at Peter's hole, I mean, Peterbuilt for a year and a half and then started in Real Estate...Been a Realtor for almost 4 years now and love every minute.

5 things people don't know about me:

1. I'm really smart...brilliant, I call me.
2. I'm really cute and funny. Well you guys probably already know that.
2. I'm rich, in my dreams.
3. I ruin the edges of all papers I carry because of a mental issue I think...with a family like mine, who wouldn't. Anyway I love to put paper or the sown edges of things like pillow cases under my fingernails. It feels so good!
4. I like to watch Dr. Phil.
5. My real hair color is brown.

5 people I tag

1. Amber
2. Maria
3. Jake and Tracy Fam.
4. & 5. I don't know that many people who like me.

Brilliant Idea by Cindy

Thanks to my smart wits, we now have a beautiful night light border. These two pics are of a fense that my grandma used to have up before we moved here. When we moved here, she did not want me to take it down because she said it defined our property line. I thought it was butt ugly so I talked her into letting me take down part of it and leaving the poles up. They stayed this ugly metal color until a couple of days ago when I decide to make them look better. Don't ask me how I came up with this great idea, it must be genetic (ha, ha, ha). I painted the poles black and found a four pack of $20 solar yard lights at Walmart (the kind you just place in the ground that stand about a foot tall) and put them inside the posts. At night they light up and look so cute. Take a look at the before picture (not really a before pic, it is a picture of a part of the fense that is still up). I also talked Rick into letting me replace the horse fense with this same principle only in between the posts, instead of putting horizontal poles, we are going to droop two lines of chain and I am going to spray paint it all black and put the lights at the top. We figured to do the whole corral might cost about $1500-$2000. Totally worth it, I think.

Another Cart Before The Horse

Ok, I admit, Rick isn't the only one buying the cart before the horse. I too am guilty, I just recently bought around $200 worth of flowers and this is all I got. I have to wait to plant them until Rick gets our drip system in and curbing done. Maybe next week sometime?????

New Lawn Mower

Even though we have no grass, Rick is so excited to finish the lawn that we had to buy a new lawn mower. Is this called putting the cart before the horse or how does that saying go?

Landscaping Progress

Holy Crap! Landscaping is HARD WORK! It has taken so long just to get where we are at right now. I would say we have worked at least 5 days nonstop and this is all we have accomplished. Crazy, huh???!!!

Related?????

Oh, wait! You know what I just noticed...wait...yup...these two are related!

Sprinkler's

For those of you who don't know already, we are putting in our sprinkler's and hopefully the next time you see our yard it will look a lot better. I'm so excited. It has been crappy work though. We also planted a garden. I forgot to take pics of that but I'll wait a few weeks til my crop starts to grow. Ahhhhh, living the farm life.

Sexy Landscaper

Landscaping, oh what a joy. Not really. Well, kind-of, especially if you have a sexy, stylish, hardworking landscaper like I do. If I could have just found the mute button, I would have been set. The first thing he asked me when I took his picture was if I got a close-up of the sweat dripping off his nose in the 40 degree weather. As if I'm suppose to feel sorry for him working so hard while I was hard at work taking pictures for our blog.

Kolten's Hair Cut

Kolten got his hair cut out of his eyes thanks to Rachel. I can't decide if I want to try to talk Kolten into going really short again or not. Kolten likes it long but I had a lady in my office today say that she didn't think this family that she had met was very religious because the high school boy had long hair. Not that it matters what people think but I don't really want people judging Kolten by his hair and thinking he has a bad attitude to go along with his long hair. I know that people can pass judgment and their judgment reflex on how they treat that person. What do you think?

Kolten did not want to get his picture taken again after he got his hair cut (I made him though) so these pics will have to do. I'll get a different one of him soon so you can see his haircut a little better. The top one is before his haircut and the bottom is after.

The Pros of Visiting the Sick

Check out Kolten having so much fun once we got home from the hospital after visiting Rick's Uncle Dave, who sadly passed away a couple of weeks ago. We love & miss you Dave.

Jackie

Hi all,

I just wanted you to see what my promiscuous dog's puppy looks like (my dog didn't get the name Jiggy for nothing you know, J/K).

Her puppy's name is Jackie and I gave her to Jason when she was 6 weeks old.

The top picture (a little blurry, sorry) is of her when she was a puppy, maybe 4 weeks old, the picture below that I took a week ago when she was lounging after playing in my backyard with her mom, the next pic is one of Jackie's sisters, out of the same litter, and the last one is of Jackie picking on her sister (she was the bully of the bunch). Isn't she cute. She is part (purebred/papered) Yorkie and part (purebred/papered) pom. Call her what you will, Yorkiranian, Porkie, ect. she doesn't care. My landscaper called her and her mom wh*res (another name for sluts in case you can't figure it out) which I thought was very rude but apparently that's the reputation the two of them have. Which, I guess that's what happens after getting knocked up twice and having two separate litters by the same off breed's baby's daddy.

The two parents, Jiggy (Jackie's mom, Yorkie) and Shorty (Jackie's dad, Pom), are both papered and purebreds and were not suppose to hook-up, no pun intended. We were going to breed Jiggy to another purebred Yorkie and sell the the puppies which didn't happen because of what my mom calls "An Irresponsible Owner" letting her dog run loose for all the neighborhood trash to find, or in other words, her dog to breed. Their may be some truth to that, however, her horny little dog also tried to breed my dog for the third time through the chain link fence when I had her locked up during her heat cycle. So I would say it was due to "Two Irresponsible Owners" (right back atcha mom).

Anyway, If any of you think Jackie is too irresistible, my mom did too and is now growing a whole herd of them to sell. Let's hope she doesn't think they are worth gold like her horses (mom if you read this, I was just kidding...kind of.)
